These are made from a hardwearing mix of synthetic fabrics (mostly acrylic/nylon) with a small amount of Lycra®. Ideal for everyday wear & in our standard pull-on, full-seated design but due to the reduced Lycra® content, they are not quite as stretchy or as figure-hugging as our performance fabrics. Available in Small, Medium & Large sizes & in Short, Regular & Long leg lengths.

New and exclusive to Goldfinch, Aqua-Pel is a revolutionary performance fabric. It has the same stretch, breathability and lightweight properties of our other jodhpurs but has an extra benefit - they repel the rain! A unique process is used in the knitting of this fabric which gives the water-repellent qualities which means it will not wash out after the first wash (so long as you follow the washing guidelines). They do need to be washed on a delicates/cool cycle with a mild/delicates detergent. Tumble drying them refreshes the water repellency. However, we think due to the nature of this fabric that in most cases, dirt will be shrugged off due to the special finish so a simple rinse might be all that’s needed. Hmm, maybe we have the first eco friendly jodhpurs!
